Celebrating Extraordinary Mums
This year is the 25th Anniversary of the Barnardos Mother of the Year Award - help us celebrate by nominating an extraordinary mum today!
The awards publicly acknowledge the enormous contribution that mums make in shaping Australia's future through their role in nurturing children to help them realise their full potential.
Now in its 25th year and celebrated to align with Mother’s Day, the awards aim to honour and thank everyday mums who go above and beyond for our children and our communities.
Over the coming months, nominations will be reviewed and a finalist from each of our eight States and Territory will be recognised at local events from the 30th March - 14th April 2020.
The national winner will be announced at the Mother of the Year ceremony, held on the 7th May 2020. Each of the eight finalists will be flown to Sydney for the awards, along with their nominator to enjoy a few days of pampering.
